Introducing the Great British Valve Group

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Great British Valve Group – a group of companies offering global customers the best of British engineering, manufacture and customer service.

“The one thing that links all our group’s companies is innovation,” explains Alun Hobbs, Founder and Chairman of Hobbs Valve and now also of The Great British Valve Group.

“We’ve brought together leading experts in valve design and manufacture, to highest industry standards. Our customers will of course experience the same high levels of customer service whichever company they deal with, safe in the knowledge that the valves, actuators and other products and systems they acquire are comparable with anywhere in the world.”

The Group’s companies are:

Hobbs Valve

Since 2005 a global industry leader in the design and manufacture of Triple Offset Butterfly Valves (TOV), with a focus on close collaboration with its customers to achieve improved efficiencies, reduced costs and ultimately their project’s success.

Cambrian Valves

A long-established supplier of valve and actuator solutions and specialist in bespoke valve design and custom fabrication. Cambrian supplies products and systems, in addition to on-site support, for any challenging application.

Hobbs Precision Engineering

Products, components and prototypes — from concept to completion with 3D design and CNC, its engineering team specialises in turning client ideas into practical reality through engineering design and precision machining.

HVG Techno

Design, build and supply state-of-the-art skid-based packages, systems and technologies for a diverse range of industries, including: oil and gas; nuclear; ship fuel and oil systems; and test or flushing rigs.

The Group has been launched to create a platform from which other British engineering businesses can be acquired and developed in the future. “We’re proud of our engineering heritage, as you’ll see on our website and Social Media content, and are striving to play our part in British engineering’s future,” added Alun.
